Didn't get a chance to make it on site.
Since the bees don't seem to be consuming very much from the syrup jars there is little worry of them not having food.
Tomorrow or the next day I will open the hive to see if I need to add another brood chamber.
Since it rained in the evening I'll check the site tomorrow and see if a reapplication of pesticide is needed. I might try pesticide in the form of granules.
