Checked under the hive to see if the bees were still there. There were a few there but nothing like the past few days. They were clustered in a shape about the size of my fist.
So My first thought was my queen got back out and down there again! So I thought I should carefully sweep the bees into a box and dump them into the hive. I dumped the small amount that fell into the hive. The rest went airborne and made it very clear that they were upset. I am very glad that I wear a full body beekeeper suit. The girls were extremely hostile. So much so that even after moving thirty feet away from the hive they still surrounded my head/face area. After about 50 feet they left me alone.
